It was time to integrate our team’s Watchlist and reminder notification features into the X1 platform. The goal was to empower X1 users to personalize their experience and ensure they never miss the content they love.
Watchlist on X1
Collaborating with the core X1 design team in Philadelphia, I created wireframes, prototypes, designs, and presentations for stakeholders showcasing the benefits of the Watchlist for a personalized user experience. I designed interfaces for both TV and web streaming.
Users could add content to their Watchlist using voice, text, social and the X1 entity screens. On the platform, the Watchlist was integrated into the primary navigation and contributed to the algorithm for the 'What to Watch' section on the new X1 homepage.

Reminders on X1
To continuously connect X1 users with the content they want to watch, X1 reminder notifications were implemented, allowing users to stay updated on the availability of their favorite linear, on-demand, and sports programming. These notifications could be received via text on mobile (30 minutes prior), on-screen (5 minutes prior), or both.
